The 'Building Blocks' series of 3D paintings were created in response to a need from Dublin Airport to exhibit pieces in the Children's area of the Anna Livia Lounge - Terminal 1. Once given the brief, I was instantly drawn to researching building blocks and how I could integrate such popular childrens toys into my art pieces. These paintings evoke a sense of playfullness and catch the eye with their vivid colour combinations. 

Made from mixed media materials including acryllic paint, wood, wire and tiles.
