I have always been captivated by the sculptural dimensions in all I produce, and within the ‘Serene Paradise’ painting series, this is evident with the layering technique used to create a micro surface of intrigue, wanting to blur the distinction between painting and sculptural relief.

Acrylics are merged with layers of textured found materials, creating an uplifting symbiotic world between the two elements - painting and sculpture.  A minimilast vivid palette against a simple white environment aims to draw the viewer in. Thus desiring a closeness to imtimately explore the intricity of what lies within this ‘Serene Paradise’, as well as a longing to TOUCH the surface. Please do so!
